"This was a fabulous place to celebrate my 70th holiday with children and grandchildren, aged between 18 months and 12 years. The house was spacious and really comfortable and well-equipped. It was great to have two canoes (and life-jackets) with easy access to the river, and wonderful views from the decked area. We had glorious weather and superb day-trips on the nearby ferry over to Glendurgan Gardens etc. Really hoping to come again one day."

"The house is a converted barn and is situated in the country side. It is very comfortable and is kitted with pretty much everything you need. You really feel like you are in the country and it is smack bang in the heart of south western Cornwall. There are many cities close by like Truro, Redruth, Falmouth, St Ives, Penzance etc. There is also a very good pub called the Golden Lion Inn just minutes away. Definitely stay here again."

"Thank you to the hosts for providing an A* experience on our trip to Cornwall. The property is off high standard and with uninterrupted views of the wooded local area. "Manor Cottage is a traditional, very comfortable, warm and well equipped secluded property set in private grounds. Whilst a car is necessary, (and this is an excellent location for touring West Penwith and beyond) there are many excellent walks in the area, including the coastal path. "I don't think there is a better view in Polruan! House was very clean, but figuring out the heating can be a challenge. Property manager was very helpful and quick to respond to my call. Highly recommend this house and will rent it again if its available next year."

Great stay in Newquay.

"The hotel location is perfect. On sea front and a few minutes walk into town. The rail station is only minutes away too. The hotel was quiet. My room,small, but everything was there. I was very comfortable in the room. I would certainly choose to stay there again. I had a lovely break and enjoyed Newquay very much."

What a find!

"Such an amazing spot with views over the beach and cove. 10 minutes from Newquay airport makes it so convenient when flying over. Food is excellent, and service standards high. I'm not even cross they forgot our dessert order, which would normally frustrate me and might put some off. Rebooking as soon as I can!"

"Great hotel! All the staff were polite, helpful and friendly. There was plenty of breakfast food, full English or a continental option. You could have both and go back for more, self-service. The evening meals were excellent. Compliments to the chef. One, two or three courses at a reasonable fair price. Nicely presented, with quick service. Parking was £8 for 24 hours. The pool isn’t huge but it's okay. Extra towels can be collected from reception. The small gym was a bonus. It has a good selection of exercise machines and weighs. There was evening entertainment in the bar which started at 8.30 and finished at 10.30, (vocalist or entertainers) We read some of the negative reviews and some are really not fair or true. We stayed for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time in Newquay. Well done to everyone at the Kilbirnie Hotel. "
