"This is an older hotel. It’s been around since 1928. The rooms are adequate but small. Our king room had only a desk chair. The bed was as comfortable and the bathroom was functional. The price was better than many nearby places.
The location is downtown and you can walk or transit easily to many places. There are many walkable eating places. Pikes place market is close. If you decide to walk to the waterfront you need to factor in a significant uphill walk back up to the hotel. We discovered that Pike Place has elevators up from the waterfront level.
The airport is a $50+ cab/uber ride. There is a train for much less if you have time.
They are trying to get you to self check-in and out which had issues."

"This is one of my favorite hotels of all time. Super nice and clean. Staff is friendly. Good was fantastic. I’ll be specifically looking for StayPineapple properties where possible for my future travels! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!"
"Very friendly staff. They go above and beyond to help with your trip. It was extremely helpful that we could store our luggage for free the day we were checking out. Our cruise didn't leave until later and it gave us the freedom to walk and explore the area."
"Solo traveler with dog. I was told the pet fee was $50/night and then handed a paper that listed it as $35/night and was to initial. When I mentioned it said $35 they said that was an old form. So they printed a new one and changed it to 50/night and had me initial. Then they said they needed a $100 incidental fee for damages the dog might do and it would be returned in 3-5 business days. I don't believe this was listed on the website. Clearly they have pet only rooms as mine the furniture was dirty and worn, the A/C did not work, the door to the balcony would not open, and the toilet was not cleaned. The area they had for pets to do their business was very small with dead grass and covered with poop. They list the facility as "smokeless" but shortly after arriving I was able to smell cigarette smoke coming in from a surrounding room. I will not be staying here again. I would have been better off at Motel 6."
"The property seemed a little tired. The room was a nice size with big TV. The beds are comfortable. For a short period the hot water was off. The elevator was not working so had to drag bags up to 2nd floor. No sign that repairs were imminent or any explanation of reason. Ice maker removed from our floor. Wasn’t aware that there was no room service so had no in room coffee after the first night.Breakfast options were good and attendant was excellent. The elevator was annoying and for that reason I would check out other options before I stayed there again"
