"Fabulous home in a beautiful, serene valley. You will definitely feel the love when you arrive here. We were greeted by the whole family bearing, wine, charcuterie, and a pineapple upside down cake. It is always such an honor to stay in one of these family homesteads. Lots of space, beautiful décor, amazing landscaping and views of the village. Location is fantastic - minutes from downtown Aveiro, two big supermarkets and the beaches, but still in a residential neighborhood. Location is great for walking to restaurants, canal, shopping, etc. One issue is proximity to church which rang bells every 15 min all day (about 8AM to 10PM). Biggest problem was communication with host. Email instruction was to announce arrival and I would be met at door. I contacted by what's app from station and again at door. Messages read but no response after 1/2 hr. Called and told I should have known to use...

"House was fine for what we needed it for. A bit dusty like it hadn’t been used in while. There is a tenant in the back that we only found out about a week before check-in but he kept to himself. Parking was a bit tough but we had 16 people stay at the property. Over all it did it’s job for the price we paid."

"This was a really nice hotel - particularly for the money (I think we had the "deluxe" room, which was excellent). Very good breakfast, comfy bed, quiet, good showers etc. We were lucky with the parking, but it could be an issue. Aveiro is a pleasant place to stay a night en route to Porto, with some attractive Art Nouveau buildings. We didn’t have time for a gondola ride, but it looked like fun."
