"Host was very kind and we had a great stay. Two notes: we had our kids aged 8 and 6 with us and we were nervous the whole time because there were so many fragile items in the home. Also we were lucky that the hot spell had broken as the house does not have AC (which I understand is standard in France).Overall however, it was a memorable experience at a beautiful one-of-a-kind house!"

"A very pleasant stay at Les Rives du Cher. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, both speaking excellent English. Our room had a beautiful view from the balcony, and it was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was lovely. The hotel is very picturesque, with pleasant gardens, parking for all rooms, and is only a 10min walk from the town centre, with it's historic buildings, and plenty of places to eat. We will be returning..."

"Our host, Laurent, was very welcoming and went above and beyond to help ensure we had a wonderful stay. The house is super cozy and adorable - a real French experience with the exposed cave walls. We will definitely stay with Laurent again when we come back to the Loire Valley. "
