"Our host, Laurent, was very welcoming and went above and beyond to help ensure we had a wonderful stay. The house is super cozy and adorable - a real French experience with the exposed cave walls. We will definitely stay with Laurent again when we come back to the Loire Valley. "

"The gite was clean and basic as advertised. The furnishing and equipment was a little 'tired'. The outside was a disappointment. The surrounding areas were untidy, the garden was full of weeds. The pool area was scruffy with weeds growing inside the pool cover. There was a 'tidemark' around the pool."

"We enjoyed our overnight stay and had a good breakfast in the morning. The hosts were welcoming and helpful The location is good with enough evening options. The room was clean and perfect for our overnight stay. We weren’t aware that the only access to the rooms on the first floor is up and outside stone staircase - not ideal in the wet. The car park is small but manageable even with large vehicles. We’d happily return "

"Very unique experience! It felt as though we had stepped back in time. You truly feel like you are living in a 16th century manor complete with interesting antiques. The pool is well maintained and the kids had a great time exploring the grounds and surrounding gardens and storage/cave areas that are part of the structure. "
