"So happy to have discovered this interesting and beautiful hotel! We chose it because the price was good and we suddenly needed to stop as we were traveling in the area. Ots more than we expected - really an historic renovated very cool place. The owner has given great detail to everything. Gorgeous artifax, furniture, attention to tiny details, including freshly baked sourdough bread at the excellent breakfast (we bought some to take with us, the crust was so good). "Very nice experience, i arrived at 20. Was able to call them and arrange late check in and preorder food at the restaurant. Super cosy location with the sound of nature. Huge room compared to normal hotels and nice accomodating staff."

"Charming small hotel visited a week before Easter 2024 - not their peak season so I suspect it is sometimes harder to get the lovely room on the 5th floor - but the room itself was a solid without being outstanding. The breakfast included in the room was decent - perhaps not as good as in some larger hotels but it would be unfair to expect them to provide as much variety in such a small hotel - and the made to order choose your eggs was a nice touch. "Lovely, lovely. The proprietors and cook are friendly and considerate. There are many interesting features in the home, its decor, and the gardens. Our room (the Belvedere) was spacious—bedroom with sitting area, bathroom, living room with sitting area. The delicious breakfast was multiple courses and served on authentic heirloom quality dishes. The surrounding village, forest, and lakes are beautiful. A magical stay."

"Villa Ingeborg is a true gem. We didn't expect such a nice villa/hotel in Fürstenberg - a village in the countryside. The large house is fully remodelled, and looks like it was recently done. The hostess is super friendly and welcoming. She greeted us immedeately on our entry into her villa. Yes, she lives there. Our room on the top floor was spotless. The bed comfortable and the sheets superb. Private shower with toiletries. And the included breakfast! Wholly makarel. Soo good and plentiful....
