By far the best hotel my partner and I have ever stayed at! We loved the room and spacious bathroom. The bed was so comfy! The gym and pool area was super modern. Also had one of the best breakfasts we’ve had the following morning! We can’t wait to stay at this hotel again!!

Decor wonderful, staff excellent, gym was amazing - best gym I've been to in ages! Spa also nice, 5 different temperature saunas/hot rooms, and the massage was top notch, thoroughly enjoyable - perfect pressure all the way through. Found breakfast a bit on the formal side for my taste - i've never had a pianist play at breakfast before!!!

Charming Stay at Hotel Britannia in Trondheim

I seldom write reviews, but the Britannia Hotel is truly a genuine 5 star hotel. The architecture, design, service, level of comfort and food are all incredible. I only had breakfast but it was the best breakfast (food and service) that I have ever had (including at a Four Seasons). I am a foodie and frequent international traveler. If you visit Trondheim and your budget permits, I recommend this hotel unreservedly.

This was easily one of the best parts of our entire Norwegian trip. The food, concierge, front desk, and ballroom personnel were top-notch. They were friendly, informed, capable, and accommodating in every interaction. We felt welcome at every turn, they did their best to ensure a fantastic experience even though we only had one night to stay there. The rooms were very clean, but they do lack accessible power outlets, which is genuinely the only complaint we had about the stay. Well designed bathroom, TV-in-mirror, light controls, and entry way.

Wow, we knew this hotel would be nice but its truely amazing. The entrance, lobby, staff, rooms were all fantastic. For me as a Brit the only fault would be not having real milk for my tea/coffee as creamer doesnt really do the trick for me. We loved the bar experience with unique cocktails as well as the concept at jacobs grill. The afternoon tea was a little underwhelming without the classic finger sandwiches (which are shown on the website and socials) and only one scone each and the the selection was a little limited, even though the experience itself was great. We do hope to visit again in the future and take advantage of the other services this great hotel has to offer.
