Tropical Plaza

This was an amazing hotel experience. The staff was exceptionally friendly, professional, and welcoming throughout my stay. The property was well-maintained, clean, and fresh, which made for a very comfortable and enjoyable visit. I have absolutely no complaints about my experience at the R Hotel Kingston. If I ever visit Kingston, Jamaica again, I will definitely stay there. I appreciated the balance between safety and privacy. While security measures were clearly in place and taken seriously, I was still afforded ample privacy and freedom during my stay. Overall, I had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kingston. Oh, the Jamaican breakfast style was on-point!

We spent 5 days here and enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Clean facilities that are well-maintained, excellent restaurants with delicious food, and a mattress that was the most comfortable we've ever slept on!

My main issue is about the cleanliness of the room. Grunge and dirt around faucets, unsightly dirty grout in the shower PLUS obvious dust in the grooves of the bed's headboard... Housekeeping is clearly not the best. I have the photos to prove this. I have stayed there before and did not experience this; hence my disappointment. Otherwise, Terra Nova is one of the best properties for a great breakfast, brunch etc. Great food...
