Located in the heart of the Ottawa National Forest, this three bedroom, two bath home is a perfect getaway location for all 4 seasons! 

The kitchen is outfitted with an table, stove, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, toaster oven, cookware, dishes and flatware. 

Living room has two 8' couches, 1 leather recliner, flatscreen TV, Firestick, VCR, and radio with auxiliary cable.
Bedroom 1 has a Queen bed , 2 night stands and a closet. 
Bedroom 2 has a Queen bed, 2 night stands and a closet. 
Bath1 has a full size bathtub, toilet, sink and closet. 
Master bedroom has 1 King bed, 2 Twin over Double Bunk beds, Double bed, walk-in closet, 2 dressers, 7 night stands, radio, window unit air conditioner, fireplace and a private balcony.
Bath 2 has a stand up shower, toilet and sink.

The deck has a Blackstone grill, picnic table, 3 person patio set with umbrella and numerous other patio chairs. The rear yard area has fire pit. Firewood can be available upon request for an additional fee.

Trail 8 runs right by the home, so whether your snowmobiling or four-wheeling we've got you covered! Click here to see a trail map of the Eastern Upper Peninsula. 

We are also located 1-2 hours away from 6 different ski resorts. 

If you love hiking and going on adventures you have to find time to visit all the amazing wonders this area has to offer. We can definitely recommend our favorite spots to go to as well as the distances from the home! Agate Falls, Bond Fall (15 min) Sturgeon Falls (40 min), Canyon Falls (40 min), Porcupine Mountains (1 hr) Brockway Mountain (2 hr) and Sugarloaf Mountain (1.5 hr). There are also some great inland lakes for fishing and swimming or head to Lake Superior to get on the big water! If you prefer river fishing, take your pick of any one of four branches of the Ontonagon River or 22 miles of the Sturgeon River to sooth your soul.

We enjoyed our stay here. Check in was a breeze and there was plenty of room for us and two other couples. Kitchen was stocked with anything we could possibly need. Ashley was quick to respond when there was an issue with the tv and it was resolved within 15 minutes. She was also excellent at sharing advice about the area and was able to provide some local recommendations for rock hounding! We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Home was clean and very cute. Kitchen was well equipped and had lots of room to work with a couple adults in it, since we did most of our meals at the house. Both bathrooms were clean and we never ran out of hot water with 8 adults in the house. Plenty of options for sleeping arrangements. I was really happy with my stay and would definitely stay again if and when I’m in the area.

Perfect location

The house is centrally located between a lot of waterfalls and fishing opportunities. The accommodations in the house were perfect. Tons of room for everyone. Nice and quiet setting. We met one of the owner and he was cool and down to earth. I highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful Cabin and Wonderful Hosts

We had a wonderful week in trout creek at this cabin! The cabin was beautiful & has such a peaceful setting. It was definitely a plus that they are dog friendly. It was just what we were looking for. It was great place to get out and enjoy nature. Ashley and Jason were more than helpful and with any questions we had and were very quick to respond. We would highly recommend staying here to anyone.

Perfect home base

Home was very nice and perfect home base for visiting all the Western UP tourist spots. Bond Falls were our favorite falls and very close. Kids were glad the internet worked great and full bars cell service (Verizon). Spent our days exploring than came back to enjoy dinner together and even used the Netflix. The only inconvenience was trying to figure out what to do with our trash but we figured it out. Thanks again for the great week! Joe Karnes and family July 2019

Great Property for Trail Riders!

Our 5night stay was great! The host was super helpful in providing details about the property, locations of waterfalls and suggestions on where to see Northern Lights. (We were able to see them from the back yard!) The house is located right on the main trail, which was so convenient not having to trailer the side-by-sides daily to a trailhead. The listing mentioned plenty of parking, but we were a tight squeeze with 3 trucks having 26ft trailers. House was very clean upon arrival, smelled good, had new shower liners and many kitchen appliances. I will add, you do need to bring your own paper towels and Kleenex. There are many house decor signs saying “please wash your hands” but not having a place to dry them was slightly annoying. So, just a heads up, but definitely not a deal breaker. Overall, we were all very pleased. I would highly recommend this property to any fellow rider, snowmobiler or anyone looking for a refreshing getaway with family or friends!

Nice property, could use some attention

The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. However, we specifically chose this property for the trampoline outside to give our kids something to do in the evenings - this is no longer there. Make sure to bring your own towels as none are provided. And there is no trash service provided - you have to take it all with you. The door to the upstairs large bedroom wouldn't close and made it hard for the kids to fall asleep. The grill needs at least major work or replaced - the burners were rusted out and slanted making it hard to cook things at the same time. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, but the house could use some major attention.

Nice location and within an hour (or less) drive to fun things to do. We went to the Porcupine Mountains, Lake Superior, Cooper Harbor, and we saw lots of waterfalls. There is a ton of room in this cabin! Lots of games and movies, if you are in the cabin long enough to enjoy these things. The cabin is older, but had everything we needed (except towels, but that was disclosed). I didn't read any other comments about the cabin not being clean, but we had a bit of an issue with that. It looks like this may have been an isolated incident. There was one bed that was made, but when we pulled the covers down, the sheets were crumpled up and the there were crumbs in the bed. We also found trash around the bed. We notified Ashley and she was very apologetic and offered to come wash the sheets. We declined because there are many other beds. Guests are asked to strip the beds upon departure, so if a guest does not do this, the cleaning crew won't know to wash the sheets. The cabin is right off a main road, so there is some road noise, but not enough to be an issue. Ashley was responsive and gave us great ideas of places to visit and things to do in the area. Over all, it was a good place to stay, a good value, and we would come back.

Waterfalls, woods and wonder

The home was beautiful, met all our needs, the spacious and quiet yard let us escape and relax. Ashley offered quite a few local places to see. We would highly recommend staying and make sure to ask the locals of all the hidden gems that can be found in the area.

Family Vacation

Our family of seven had a wonderful stay! The house was spacious, with plenty of beds and enough room for everyone to have their privacy. Having a second bathroom upstairs made things even more convenient. The property itself was beautiful—peaceful, well-maintained grounds that we really enjoyed. We’d definitely recommend it!
