"False advertising on Expedia pics. This hotel was dirty, and room dirt on walls and stains on bedskirt. Room had a window at the top of the ceiling you couldn’t reach, and the heater was broken. Towels old and dirty, tub would never have anyone hoping to get clean in it. Mattress hard and old. Pillows worn and no shape left. Horror hotel! "

"It seemed like grand central station downstairs at all hours. It seems it is a roadcrew hotel among other things. We found it very appealing and nice as it was quiet at night despite the continual late night arrivals The restaurant was quite good - salad fresh and tasty, burger fairly simple and tasty 😋 Server - little older guy-was a good friendly chill person. Power to us older guys who “just know”."

"there was a weird odor in the room, after showering and going to sleep, 2 of the pillows smelled like someone's gross sweat, had to toss those to the floor. definitely has lowered their standards since my last stay there a few years ago. "

"I had a great stay at Quality Inn & Suites Thunder Bay Downtown. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help, which made the experience even better. The location is very convenient, with easy access to downtown and nearby restaurants. The complimentary breakfast and 24-hour coffee were also a nice bonus. Overall, a reliable and comfortable place to stay I would definitely recommend it and would gladly return."

"A great home away from home. We were 4 adults and there was plenty of room for all of us. The house was clean, kitchen well stocked and check in was a breeze. Owners were very responsive to our questions. Would highly recommend this location and would definitely return ourselves."

"While our initial reaction was surprise as this is a large bedroom in what looks to be a remodeled rooming house in the downtown core, we soon were won over by the clean bright room. There is a keurig, a small microwave and fridge so you will most likely have to go out to eat. The location is fantastic. There is a casino a few steps away and the have good , reasonably priced food that you can order long after everything else is closed. They have a 5.00 breakfast that is amazing, served every day. There are specials every night including a full steak dinner for under twenty bucks on Saturday. The room was clean and comfortable and the other tenants were very quiet. Any street noises weren’t enough to bother us. Parking was initially a challenge as street parking is strictly regulated, but the parkade a couple of blocks away provided ample and cheap parking (5.00/stay). We were close to the airport, hospital and the university. Unfortunately, it was cold and snowy so we couldn’t take advantage of the room’s proximity to the waterfront and shops. If you are in town for an event, this is a great place to stay and we would stay again in the future. "
