Get with the times

I'm from Troy and this hotel looks and smelled as if it hadn't been updated since I left there 30 years ago. They advertised breakfast and it wasn't even provided.

Stayed just for one night bed was comfy and staff was super nice. could use some fixture updates there was some rust and the vent on the ac was broken but every thing worked fine.

The staff was great. It is an old hotel and worn out. The room was clean and good for the one night we needed a place to stay. It was okay for the price.

Mold on doors and mirrors floor dirty no breakfast like was listed no pool that was listed did not stay waiting for refund on debit card. Expedia needs to take a look at this place!!!

Room is clean and check in was good but bathroom door stuck and took 5 minutes to get out. Husband had to fix the toilet to flush. Also the pool in the pictures online is filled in with sod and grass. There a large hole in the room that I assume use to be for a mini fridge.

People live full time in the back. Kids riding skateboards outside room doors couldn't get to sleep. Wouldn't recommend staying here.

Great water with high pressure. Not very restful night. Mattress very uncomfortable. Tossing and turning all night. Rooms need serous update. The girls behind the counter were very nice and polite. Good price!

The staff was very nice, but the facilities need upgrading, and there was a large hole in the wall where some appliance used to be. The bathroom and shower were very clean; however, the floor was dirty and the comforters were stained. The lobby also had a bad oder. That said, it was convenient.

Avoid EconoLodge Hwy 231 Troy, Al

I’m very disappointed in what I see in my room. Rusty lamps, rusty appliances, ironing board is rusty also. The pictures that’s in the advertisement of the rooms are miss representing of EconoLodge . Clearly Choice Hotels nor Hotels.com visit this hotel. I’ve never experienced this before in a hotel. There’s nothing good or pleasant I have pictures of everything in my room. I guess you get what you pay for. Furniture,appliances all looks like it was purchased from a yard sale and the newest items in the room is the tv and microwave…every room here needs to be inspected.
