"I stayed 21 nights at the hotel. This is an older facility but the family that owns and manages it have made it comfortable and welcoming. I needed a more comfortable mattress and the owner/manager purchased and placed a new mattress at my request - that is genuine service and hospitality. The hotel provides a daily breakfast, gratis. The pool and grounds are well maintained. It is located on a beautiful beach with several inexpensive tavernas and restaurants in short walking distance. You can also purchase grocery from nearby markets and keep them in your room fridge. Four people run this hotel - they do a superb job. I would return here if I revisited Crete. "
"Perfect in every way. Food and drinks were excellent, staff polite and hospitable, while working busy shifts. Beach was great and the highlight of the trip. "The house was a lovely old Cretan house renovated to a high standard, and Popi was a wonderful, helpful, and knowledgeable host - really friendly and full of suggestions of where to go next. You will need to have a car to get around as it is not at all central, and do not expect a modern building - but it was full of character and the aircon worked very well, so in my eyes it was perfect! I would happily stay here again, and hope to do so some day in the coming years."
"While we were there our son went into medical distress. The staff at the store and the reception desk were absolutely amazing. So kind, caring, and thoughtful. My son and I didn’t get to finish our stay there but they sent food packages with the rest of our family for our hospital stay. At the end of the day, a hotel is just a hotel….it’s the staff and people that make the experience. 10/10 experience. "
