Amazing City And Mountain Views From The Foothills Of The Catalinas

Fully furnished 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom Santa Fe Style hillside casita, with incredible views of the mountains and the city of Tucson. The guesthouse is fully furnished, including a clothes washer and dryer, and is located in the foothills of the Catalinas, at the base of Mount Lemmon. Our guesthouse is located on a three acre property, is surrounded by Saguaros, Ocotillo, and desert wildlife, and has a private patio with a private hot tub.

Arizona National is the closest golf course and is only a 5-10 minute drive from our casita. The closest shopping center is 5 miles (10 minutes) away, according to Google Maps. The drive up to Mount Lemmon starts only minutes away and leads to hiking, cycling, mountain biking, camping, fishing, scenic overlooks, and skiing (depending upon the season and the weather). By car, downtown Tucson is 36 minutes away, and The University of Arizona is 29 minutes away (both according to Google Maps).

The guesthouse is designed to accommodate up to 2 people using the king size bed, but we may be able to accommodate a couple with a small child, as well. Please contact us about this situation ahead of any requests for booking.

We love everything about this charming and comfortable casita. It is so peaceful and pretty, and the views of the city at night are quite remarkable. Our hosts were gracious and friendly, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed but also giving us plenty of privacy. We had a wonderful week exploring Tucson and the surrounding area. We enjoyed coming back to the casita and relaxing in the hot tub or soaking up the sun on the back patio. The kitchen was well-stocked, the king size bed felt great, and my husband especially appreciated the fabulous walk-in shower with beautiful tiling. Thank you so much! Wonderful vacation.

We are golfers. We can access many golf courses, and enjoy the hot tub after a round. Nearby Safeway and many restaurants. We’ve stayed five times. Will come back again if we can.

This casita was perfect for my husband and I. The laundry on site was so incredibly helpful. This was our second time staying at Michael and Alejandra’s wonderful casita and it was just as amazing as our first visit! The casita is very comfortable, private and exceptionally clean, with breathtaking views and an amazing spa to relax in after our days spent hiking. The casita is located in a beautiful area of Tucson that was convenient to all the places we wanted to explore, but quiet and peaceful and perfect for stargazing in the evenings. Quiet piece of paradise

Unit exactly as described and shown in list. The area is so peaceful, close to needed amenities for food and the like. Ideally situated for visiting the local parks, canyons and the National Park. Easy day trip to San Xavier Mission, Tubac or Tombstone. Couldn’t have found a better place to spend a week in the Tucson area. Hot tub and stunning sunsets are a nice bonus!

Peace and quiet with heavenly views

Stayed here for 2 1/2 months to escape the upper midwest winter. Hiking nirvana on Mt. Lemmon nearby, as well as Saguaro NP and all the other trails in the Tucson area. Michael and Alejandra were very gracious hosts, always available. Enjoyed the privacy and quiet of the guest house. Star gazing from the patio was fantastic.
