With this studio I love to create a home away from home for my guests. It's like a luxurious hotelroom with privacy. 2 min from Saguaro Natl. Park - East. Ideal for hiking, biking and birding. Just outside city limits, overlooking the city with desert and mountain views. Dark night skies, howling coyotes, hooting owls and occasional javelinas. Saguaro National Park stay

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. The Damselfly studio was roomy, comfortably furnished and very pleasant. We were very close to the Park for hiking and within easy driving distance to restaurants. Fredericka was a very accommodating and friendly host. You will not be disappointed if you stay there!

We love this place so much!

This is our second year staying at the Damselfly and it was wonderful as always. Fredricka is very responsive and friendly. If you are a fan of nature and wildlife this is the spot for you. The bird-watching game is top notch . The wildlife and environment can't be beat!

We stayed 3 nights and found it to be very relaxing. Host was very pleasant and loaned me her new coffee press since I don't care for the Keurig. Wish the bed was larger. A queen would be have been perfect.

A perfect stay!

We enjoyed a wonderful 3-night stay in this quiet desert retreat. The place was spotless, and we found every amenity we might need for a studio stay. We loved the many seating areas, shared courtyard, and enjoyed watching the birds from the back deck. Frederika is a thoughtful host, and it’s obvious she has made the extra effort to make the studio a comfortable getaway. We loved it so much we ended up booking 2 more stays during our time in Tucson!
