Laura at reception and breakfast service provided excellent service despite us not being fluent in Spanish. Great place - lovely fire in the living room for an after-dinner drink amidst books, a piano. Very tasteful classical music at the perfect volume. Excellent, classy place!

No lo recomiendo. Muy caro para lo que es.

Pagué 420 dólares por noche en un hotel que tiene limitantes serias en cuanto a infraestructura. Las puertas son antiguas y se cierran con un candado escolar. La habitación duplex da a la calle y no tiene control de ruido. Me desperté a las 5 am cuando pasó el primer camión y me dormí a las 11:30 pm cuando acabaron un partido de basketball en la calle. Tuvimos que dormir la segunda noche en una habitación de menor valor pero silenciosa, pero el hotel no tiene un sistema de servicio al cliente. Las niñas del servicio son muy queridas pero no tienen entrenamiento profesional hotelero. Todo lo tienen que preguntar via chat al dueño. La casa es bonita pero funciona como si fuera una finca alquilada. Pienso que la relación precio/oferta es muy mala. Definitivamente hay mejores opciones a menor precio. No lo recomiendo.

Character , charm , comfort , elegance. Beautiful courtyards, vegetation and common areas that takes you back to colonial days. Service is outstanding , breakfast delicious. Rooms well appointed with basic necessities. Will definitely come back. Location is ideal for exploring downtown Villa de Leyva full of great cuisine and artisan shops.
