"We initially had an issue with too much air freshener in our room and once we asked about it, the staff immediately put an ionizer in the room and took care of the problem completely. The restaurant served great food and very large portions. The bed and shower were great. Cleaning staff was incredibly friendly as were bartenders and wait staff."
"This was our first visit to Sequoia National Forest and we loved Wuksachi Lodge. It wasn’t our normal vacation but that’s what we were looking for. There is no pool, sauna, arcade, or beach. The rooms in the lodge were very clean and I thought the beds were extremely comfortable. The rooms are basic, but that only adds to the charm of the experience. If you visit in the summer, be aware that most of the rooms have no A/C but some have window units. It wasn’t an issue for us because the low at night was around 48 Fahrenheit in August. The Peaks restaurant was the only part of the lodge that I thought was just ok. The food wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either and was pretty expensive. Everything else was great and you can’t beat the location. It’s about an hour drive on a road full of hairpin turns to get to the main park attractions once you enter the park. By staying in the park at Wuksachi, we only had to make that drive once to get in and once to go home."
"The property is very close to the park. Room was clean, quiet, and just next to the little river. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning!"
"We had a terrific stay! The property was very clean and well-stocked and close to the Foothills Visitor Center at the NP. Plenty of parking in the driveway. The deck out front was a beautiful spot for coffee in the morning and we grilled and had dinner on the patio out back later in the evening after spending the day in the parks. Mark provided helpful information and recommendations for our stay. His communication was always quick and friendly. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it highly to everyone. "
