"We have heard of this property for years, it was an absolute pleasure to spontaneously get up to Suchitoto and stay at this gorgeous historic yet modern refurbished location. Delicious menu, comfortable beds with air conditioning, a strong Wi-Fi. The most modern of comforts while still being hundreds of years in the past! Love it."

"The apartment is very clean and comfortable, the host is very communicative. We really appreciated having a sofa to use, as well as the good quality AC, a small kitchen area and a modern bathroom. I really appreciated that most basic toiletries were provided. The area is a little way from the main downtown area, which could be a little challenging when dealing with the horrendous traffic in San Salvador (it took us an hour to travel 3 miles in an Uber, which seems to be common). However, there are lots of shops and amenities within walking distance, so it’s not always necessary to travel very far. It should be noted that the apartment seems to be an extension of a main family home - so even though you have your own private space, it is sometimes possible to hear noises and voices coming from within the building. That said, it did not disturb us too much. My only suggestions for improvement would be perhaps the host could install some kind of floor lamp to make the area even more cosy and relaxing. Also, the rainfall shower doesn’t really work as it should and we had an issue with the TV glitching that I am sure the host will resolve."

"This hotel was very beautiful, a Salvadoran gem! A beautiful view of the lake from the restaurant! We also loved the appetizer we ordered: fried yucca with cheese inside. The restaurant staff was very nice and helpful, the receptionist for the hotel seemed kind of annoyed we were there but it didn’t take away from our stay. I would recommend this lovely place for sure!"
