"Pros: Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans ce gîte, idéalement situé dans la vallée de la Vézère, à proximité de nombreux sites historiques et touristiques du Périgord. Le gîte est très bien situé et offre un cadre agréable pour découvrir la région. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la très belle piscine, idéale pour se détendre après une journée de visites. "Perfect location within Montignac, walking distance to the whole town. We really enjoyed our stay (long weekend for a wedding). Coralie was a very accommodating host and very responsive. It is worth noting that there is not a designated car parking space, however, there are plenty of car parks and free street parking within close proximity to the property. Fully equipped kitchen and air con provided great respite during the hot days. Merci Coralie pour un séjours excellent!"

"This was a lovely and cozy space and exactly what my partner and I needed for our short stay in Perigord. Check in was a breeze and the kitchen was well stocked and comfortable for making a meal. Communication with Julie was easy and she was always readily available. The cabin is about 5 minutes from Saint Leon sur Vezere and maybe 10-15 minutes from the nearest large grocery store in Montignac. Also, the air conditioner works like a dream! It is so quiet and we slept very comfortably. Two things...

Domaine du Château de Monrecour – Hôtel et Restaurant

10/10 Excellent

"Lovely old property close to towns in the scenic Dordogne. A car is essential. We stayed in the old castle which was charming. Excellent restaurant - be sure to book ahead."

Résidence Le Clos du Rocher - Vacancéole

8/10 Good

"You get what you pay. The listing was exactly what the photos showed. They do not have 24hours reception. It was very difficult to get answer from the property regarding late check-in. When they got back and they confirmed that the late check in was possible the check in process was easy."

Le Petit Manoir

10/10 Excellent

"We had the Rousseau room at the very top of the building. It was spacious and very comfortable. We were prepared to have to walk stairs (no elevator) and the staff carried bags up and down. The heating was tricky but staff sorted it out. Breakfast was great and location is superb. Lea on the staff was especially helpful. For improvement, we would note that the bathtub/shower was very slippery and a bit treacherous with no grab bar to hold. Strongly recommend that they add non/slip grips to the floor of the tub and/or a grab bar to the wall. Otherwise, terrific."
