"Very lovely hotel and location.
Staff were so helpful and quick to reply via email before our stay. They also managed to allow us into our rooms for early check in which we had requested which was very helpful.
The only thing which would have made our stay better would have been a kettle in the rooms.

"the building itself is a jugend sight to behold and the breakfast restaurant is such a cosy space. the building used to be a higher education building back in the day and my uncle actually started his engineering degree in this building, so it made our stay even more special.
comfortable, quiet & clean room. breakfast had loads of choice and lots of traditionally finnish options, always a plus. we arrived several hours before check-in and asked to leave our luggage, but was told that we could get our room straight away and even asked if we had any preferences or requests on the room. exceptional service. would not hesitate to recommend and will consider when staying in Helsinki again! "Clean, good location, great choice of breakfast, double bed was comfy. The first night the kids pull out beds were uncomfortable but we asked for toppers like they had put on ours and this was quickly seen to.
My only negative was the pool was too cold to swim in. "
"Everything was awesome? That's lovely but isn’t helpful, right? The rooms were well appointed and trendy. The sort of thing that looks amazing if well-maintained. I look forward to many future stays at this property and hope that the natty design remains poopin fresh.
As for the staff: hearts of goodness, each one of them. I'm sure they deal with all forms of kind to crazy. They were truly gracious hosts at each interaction.
The bathroom is a dream. The entryway into my room was the size of many hotel rooms I've had in Japan. It made winter dressing and disrobing, a thankless sport, easier than what I experience at home. The open shelving and hanger situation is also a bit of genius allowing damp togs to dry and also allowing for visual organization and space to repack as items lose situational relevance during planned activities. I loved the desk window area, but spent no time using them because OUTSIDE was the reason to be in town.
I hope to plan more downtime into my next stay so I can take advantage of the well-appointed room, comfy bed, and shiny digs near many fun social eateries and activities.
A great small chain find. "
