"A lovely hotel, recently modernised with excellent spa and wellness areas. Staff couldn’t have been friendlier and were very helpful. We loved the system they had for evening meals- a menu to order from at breakfast. Great choices for vegetarians and vegans too, all very tasty and beautifully presented. Specifically, it feels the kitchen needs to really improve - morning eggs arrived at odd shapes (like scrambled eggs that weren’t scrambled before fried), and coffee with regular milk after we explained of a lactose intolerance. I think it will take a bit more time until the service gets to the level of facilities."
