"Breakfast was self serve however it was a full breakfast meal. From grits, eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, waffles, bananas, apples, cereals, coffee, hot teas, etc. very good! "

"Great location, in the middle of blowing rock. Easy access to blue ridge parkway to Grandfather mountain. Only 7 mins to Tweetsie Tailroad. The property is super clean and well maintained. There is a nice pond with fishing opportunities. Definitely we will come back again!"

"We had a large comfortable room, the extra bed was a full size twin which was great for my 15 year old granddaughter. The food was wonderful and the bartender was a genius mixologist who entertained us with his masterful concoctions along with a great sense of humor! Easy walk to Main Street, we will return!"

"Staff was very sweet! The sitting area was so pretty, decorated for Christmas with the fireplace going. Food/drinks available all day like free cookies, coffee, lemon water, hot chocolate. Our room was clean and I love that they provide shampoo, conditioner, and lotion via wall dispensers. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was really good! We didn’t get to use the pool, but it was nice and clean from the looks. Best of all, it’s next door to Troy’s 105 Diner! We will stay again!"

"We stayed at the Boxwood Lodge recently for a little family fall weekend getaway. It was our first time visiting Blowing Rock, and we had the best time. It was like walking through a Hallmark movie. We loved the Boxwood Lodge! The staff was friendly, our room was spacious and clean, and we slept well. The location is perfect to be able to walk instead of having to drive in all of the traffic. We will definitely stay at the Boxwood again!"
