Top Twin Lake Hotel Reviews
Baymont by Wyndham Gaylord
8/10 Good
"Pet friendly"
The Lakeview Hotel, Shanty Creek Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Shanty Creek is a beautiful hotel in an extraordinarily lovely site with great resources. I highly recommend it!"
All Seasons Resort
8/10 Good
"Awesome, helpful staff!! Great pool ans hot tub and a good breakfast. It could just use a deep clean but great place!"
PINE COTTAGE - Pet Friendly Lakefront Cottage on Thayer Lake
8/10 Good
"Cozy cabin on a quiet lake. There is a short, incline with small pebbles from parking area to cabin. Great firepit area. Perfect location; we were able to check out Traverse City, Petosky, Charlevoix, and area around Torch lake. Thought it was odd that cabin did not have any places to hang clothes or wet towels (only one small towel bar in bathroom, no hooks anywhere in cabin). Also kitchen not very conducive to cooking due to lack of counter space."
North Country American Inn
8/10 Good
"Everything was good, but we noticed they may be a little short on staff. The lady working the counter is also cleaning rooms. But we enjoyed our stay. The coffee was a bit weak, but there’s a Bigsbys right around the corner!"
The Lodge at Cedar River, Shanty Creek Resort
8/10 Good
"Staff was great. Property is beautiful, but this building is in dire need of cleaning, updating and repair -especially for the "resort" price."
Torch Lake Sandbar Waterfront Home - with Dock!
10/10 Excellent
"Perfect for us!"
Charming 2-bedroom cabin with Water Views on Thayer Lake
10/10 Excellent
"This was an amazing weekend trip! The cabin is beautiful. The views and surrounding areas are breathtaking. If you need a two bedroom cabin with all the amenities of home, this is the place. How many cabins actually have dishwashers and laundry facilities! It comes equipped with everything! Check in was simple. Communication was very fast. It really was a perfect weekend."
Lakeside Log Home, dog-friendly, fireplace, free boats, fishing, swimming
10/10 Excellent
"It was a cute 1920's log cabin, located in the country on a lake, but just a few miles from town. The hosts were extremely accommodating to our needs. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Gaylord, MI."
