Wonderful Mountain getaway nestled comfortably in the picturesque White Mountains. The house boasts comfortable and luxurious accommodations with granite countertops, bar, leather furniture, and more! Sleeps 8 comfortably with 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms and den. Outside, there is a quaint covered front porch to enjoy morning coffee and a back deck to enjoy the private wooded lot. Bear and Moose are frequent visitors to the area and have been spotted on the property! Close to major hiking destinations in Franconia Notch and Crawford Notch. The prestigious Mt. Washington hotel and golf course is located 10 minutes away, as well as The Mountain View Grand Resort with fine dining, a beautiful golf course, and exceptional grounds.

cozy home tucked into nature

The location of the home is perfect: quiet and off the beaten path but so close to so much! The home is perfect, has an open concept and comfortable for all six adults staying there. The house was clean and had a welcome basket filled with goodies! Every possible cooking utensil is available and easy to find. The hosts leave a book with information on nearly anything you’d want to do in the area which was so helpful. Overall a great stay in a great location in a great house. We’re so thankful for the opportunity to stay there and see the area this time of year!

Perfect Retreat in the Woods!

Second time staying in this property and it fits our needs perfectly :) The 2 bathrooms makes it much easier for mornings when people are trying to get ready and the layout of the house is perfect for families!

Perfect Retreat in the Woods!

The property was exactly as it showed in the photos (maybe even better in person). The host was very responsive to our questions before the stay and the property was the perfect setup for our family who was looking for a quiet place to stay while going to a family reunion in the area. We will definitely be back to stay and hope to use the outdoor space (firepit, deck, grill) next time :)

Clean, quiet, comfortable

We had a lovely stay here while we were waiting to close on our house. Kitchen is well appointed (suggest basic seasonings like salt/pepper in the cupboards) with lots of space. The kitchen/living/dining area were all open so we could share family time, and it was lovely waking up to the sounds of so many birds in the mornings. Owner was responsive and accommodating- we would definitely recommend this house!

Beautiful place near Breton Woods

We stayed at the house for three nights, sharing with another couple. The set up of the house is fantastic. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom with all amenities. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with everything you may need for a longer stay. We enjoyed some nice meals that we prepared on the grill. The house is located off the beaten path providing very restful nights. Our favorite were the welcome cookies 😉.

Mountain Getaway

My family, wife, daughter, son and daughter in law and my two grandchildren ages six months and 5 years old, had a fabulous and memorable stay at Dan’s mountain getaway. Their home was very clean and very open living quarters. The yard, front and back, was so relaxing and let you enjoy the woods and the potential to see wildlife. You felt nestled in the woods. Centrally located to everything.

This was a very roomy and comfortable property. Very private, nestled in the woods. We enjoyed a nice fire. We picked this property as it was near the hiking and biking trails we planned to utilize. The beds were just right in terms of not too soft, not too firm. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils, pots and pans etc. One thing we missed and that is a microwave, but we worked around it. Dan was very responsive and flexible to our needs.

Great Home in a Great Location

We spent the weekend in the mountains with another family of friends that we were visiting. Our group of four adults and three kids (4-8 years old) all fit very comfortably and this was the perfect home base for us! We had a slight hiccup in finding the house since GPS is not reliable and we were sent to the wrong neighborhood. We found the correct street after a quick look at the map and the house was easy to find from there. We were greeted by a very nice welcoming basket that included tasty snacks and a bottle of wine. The split layout was perfect and the kids really enjoyed the bunkbeds. We used the washer and dryer several times after some messy adventures. For in-house entertainment, the kids were excited to find the stash of board games, there were plenty of movies and books available, and we were able to use the firepit to enjoy an evening under the vast stars while eating S'mores. Overall, this was the perfect home and location, which was made all the better by the thoughtful touches from Dan and Marisa.

Perfect escape!

Another mama and I booked this property to take our combined 5 kiddos to Santa’s Village. This was the most perfect spot! The house was well appointed and offered everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. They even left a beautifully thoughtful gift basket! The property was private and serene tucked off the busy highway in the woods. The highlight for us moms was the safety of the spot which allowed us to let the kids blow off steam around the yard while we sat on the big porch and chatted both mornings and evenings listening to birds and scattering chipmunks. The highlight for the kids was the bunk room! (And the endless options for movies in the evening!) We hope to book the house again on our next trip to SV!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was clean and comfortable and stocked with everything you need! The welcome basket was a lovely addition! It is a private and peaceful setting and close to Santa’s Village, which was our reason for traveling up to the area. Would definitely rent again!

This was a very homey place, with a lot of utensils in the kitchen. A nice basket of great stuff welcomed us and in general, it was pretty comfortable for 4 adults. Dan was very responsive to my questions and all around a great host.
