"The property and the staff were spectacular friendly, wonderful, no problems, no issues. The only feedback that I have is that at least in my room, the bathroom and sync area is outdated, very. So it made it look like it was dirty. Just because it was outdated, but it wasn't. Everything was nice and clean. However, because everything was outdated, it overshadowed. The look of the cleanliness, obviously I could see past it, but I'm sure that there's some people that would be Karen's and be the totally different scenario. And different story, but me, everything was wonderful. Everything was great. The beds were comfortable.. the shower tonight the hot water was nice and hot as how did you wanted it and I stood there just to be able to let it run to kind of wash all the stresses away And not even a blip of missing any straightforward hot water. So in that regard a plus."

"We loved our stay at Thistle Ridge and plan to go back! The cabin and property are beautiful, clean and so relaxing. The cabin has everything you need for a fun, relaxing vacation. You immediately feel at home upon arrival. We had fresh eggs for breakfast every morning provided by the on site chickens! Also enjoyed delicious coffee made at the coffee bar. The kitchen has more than you need for any type of meal prep.The beds are super comfy and all of the furniture in the cabin is well appointed for relaxing. We enjoyed eating on the covered deck, playing foosball, playing cornhole in the front yard, eating freshly made popcorn and s’mores (provided by our hosts) by the fire pit and watching birds come and go on the back deck. And then there’s the river lot! So much fun hanging in and out of the river. Kim is a super gracious host and very communicative. Highly recommend staying at Thistle Ridge!"

"I like the quiet of the country, but did not enjoy travelling on Low gap Rd. It was great to have full size refrigerator. And we enjoyed a relaxing evening watching Secretariat after spending the day Grayson Highlands State Park and touring Kentucky Horse Park the previous day. Host was very pleasant to communicate with."

"Great escape to the peace and quiet of the NC mtns. Cabin is stocked with everything you need and more. Watch the neighboring cows walk their path or watch the clouds move. Relax and enjoy. Hiking at Grayson Highlands is a must do if you like that activity. Would recommend to everyone. Rosemary's communication was great and appreciated. Fun time. 2nd time renter and will be back. I don't say that lightly either because we hardly ever rent the same place twice."
