"The staff is what makes it. I think I’m on my fifth or sixth stay so maybe seventh or eighth night. The staff is amazing. I know I would steal at least two of them away for my company if I didn’t live 3 1/half hours away from where my son goes to college. My company could use staff like this. The beds are comfortable, it’s pretty clean, it’s outdated, but you know it’s 80 or $90 a night so that really can’t matter much. I don’t have any complaints."

Plenty of Water on the main channel. Perched on a bluff with breathtaking sunrise views over the lake, this remodeled 2BR/1BA log cabin offers memory-foam beds, well-stocked granite kitchen (farm-fresh eggs!), covered deck, stone fire pit, huge dock.

"We loved our stay at the cabin, just far away enough from home to be unplugged and disconnected. We had everything we needed, and the space was perfect for our family of 4. We enjoyed meals around the fire, playing pickleball, and lots of time kayaking and swimming in the lake. We will be back soon!"

"This is an older hotel that is being renovated. Our room was remolded, very clean and comfortable. The area is right next to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Very quiet. There is a little restaurant just the road for dinner and a small coffee shop across the street that serves breakfast sandwiches and has great coffee. I would stay here again."
