  • Maddie`s Retreat is the perfect holiday house, central location with easy access to the shops/restaurants in walking distance and both Mt Cook and Lake Tekapo are less than an hours drive. Our brand new home has been built to make the most of the amazing Mackenzie District with a fabulous deck so you can enjoy stunning summer and star gaze from home.
    Free off street parking, Free wifi, and all modern amenities mean you can relax and be comfortable after your day of adventures.

We had a fantastic stay and would happily return. The property was modern, spotless, warm and very comfortable, with everything we needed for our family. It was the perfect base for exploring Aoraki/Mt Cook National Park and the surrounding area. Check-in was easy, communication was excellent, and the home was well equipped and thoughtfully presented. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay in Twizel.
