"I'm writing this review based more on the host than the property at Deerpark. We had booked the Deerpark location, but the morning we were to check-in, we received a message indicating that we've been moved to a different rental location due to a 'plumbing issue at Deerpark'. We were assured by Justin that the new location would be better: more room, a big backyard, etc. Upon checking in, it was bigger, but certainly not better. Top Twomileborris Hotel Reviews

Baileys Hotel Cashel

10/10 Excellent

"Everything was fantastic. The rooms were cleaned that people were nice and the food was outstanding."

Serene 3-bedroom City Home in charming Kilkenny perfect for relaxing stays

8/10 Good

"Fantastic Host, Great Location, and Comfortable Stay!Overall, we had a good stay, but what really stood out was the exceptional hospitality! We were having trouble finding accommodations because all the hotels were booked. Although the property typically requires a minimum stay of 2 to 3 nights, the owner kindly made an exception and accommodated us for the one night we needed. We were incredibly grateful! The property itself was noticeably older than it appeared in the photos, but it was comfortable. When we couldn’t figure out how to turn on the heat, the owner immediately sent someone over to help. His responsiveness and willingness to accommodate us were truly 5 star service!A couple of things to be aware of: all the bedrooms are upstairs, while the only bathroom is downstairs, which can be inconvenient during the night. The beds also didn’t have top sheets, which was a little unusual, but I slept very comfortably. The location is fantastic! Everything downtown is within easy walking distance, so there’s no need for a car or taxis. While the property could use some updating, the comfortable beds, unbeatable location, and especially the owner’s outstanding hospitality made this a positive experience. Five stars for service and hospitality!"

Historically homely castle with stunning wall gardens, perfect for group stays

10/10 Excellent

"We were a family group of 10 adults and 9 children. The castle was so beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and clean! The outdoor space was perfect for happy hour and for the children to run around and play games. The beds were high quality and very cozy. We felt like royalty! Mullinahone is a perfect home base for touring Ireland The town was a very short and safe walk with our 9 young children. People in town were so warm and friendly. Eileen was very helpful and quick to respond with any of our questions. I would stay here again and highly recommend it"
