Ocean Walk is a charming beach house, perfectly situated on a private lane, located directly overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Guests will be captivated by the relaxing wrap-around screened porch on the main level. Enjoy the sea breeze from the covered porch which sits just over the natural dunes. This classic two-story home has a semi-private beach boardwalk that is just a few steps from the front door. The wide-open beach is just a stroll down the boardwalk that takes you over the dunes.
The main living level of the home is on the second floor, with an interior stairway that is wide and welcoming. The distinctive, vintage-styled living space has a bright open floor plan with large sliding glass doors on two sides. Open the doors to reveal a grand outdoor, screened-in porch that brings the outdoors in.
The large porch will make you feel right at home and will be where you want to spend your time enjoying the beautiful view and feeling the serenity of the ocean breeze. Listen closely to hear the waves lapping at the shore. Spend days relaxing and entertaining on the porch that has comfortable seating and has a large dining table, perfect for family dinners overlooking the ocean.
There are two Bedrooms and two Bathrooms on the main floor. The Primary bedroom has a King bed and a TV and an attached bathroom with a walk-in shower. The guest bedroom has a King bed and a full bathroom with a tub and shower combination in the hallway.
Downstairs, the third guest bedroom has a King size bed as well as additional bedding with a Twin Daybed with a trundle, perfect for family members with children. This bedroom features a 40inch flat-screen Smart TV, for streaming your own media (there is no cable in this bedroom.) There is a half bath downstairs, and two separate walk-in showers that make rinsing off after a day at the beach a breeze.
The garage area has been converted to an entertainment room, complete with a ping-pong table, challenge your guests to a friendly match! There are a gas grill and an outdoor shower outside of the home. Just steps away from the front entrance of the home is the private boardwalk that leads over the dunes to the beach. The boardwalk is long in order to get you safely past the protected, natural dunes of the mid-island. The wide beach of Tybee's Mid-Island is a quiet stretch of white sand beaches surrounded by beautiful natural sand dunes.
Ocean Walk is located on 11th Terrace, directly across from the Tybee Island Market IGA and is about a half of a mile to the South End business district and the Tybee Island Pier and Pavillion. This home offers Wifi and parking for up to 4 vehicles.

Everything was in good working order, which you don't always find at a vacation rental.
The house has a huge wrap-around porch facing the ocean and the side street. We did not get much use out of it in January, but it would be great in a warmet month. We still had plenty of indooor space.
This was our first trip to Tybee Island. We had a great time. The house is cute and met our needs. Love that it had vintage decor. :-) loved that it was right next to the boardwalk. The screened porch was wonderful in the mornings, evenings and during rain storms. Enjoyed playing ping pong too. I would hope someone checks the smoke detector and electrical outlets as some of them sparked and became warm with use. Overall nice house and fun vacation!
We are a family with 2 kids under two. This was our first family trip. If you have a family of little ones and want to stay on the beach, this is the house for you. It was so worth the price to see and hear the ocean. It also made it easier to trek our stuff and children out to the beach.
The porch is where our family hung out when we weren’t at the beach or out and about. The house has a classic beach get away feel.
The island itself is great for families, never more than a 5-10 minutes drive to somewhere. We loved it and will return frequently.
House was comfortable, the porch was fantastic. The home furnishings are exactly as it looks in the photos , although they are a bit dated they are excellent quality and frankly gave the home a very comfortable vibe . The updated kitchen and grill are terrific as we cooked a few dinners and breakfasts . Being able to walk down the street to the market was awesome. We loved the privacy of the boardwalk walk to the beach as well . The house is perfectly situated for a quiet beach retreat and easy walk into the main part of town . Would definitely stay again. Just a quick note , however, if you’re traveling long distance which we did (from Virginia) and you’re hoping for a slightly early check in (an hour or so) if the property is ready which I’ve been allowed to do in many properties I’ve rented over the years this property was very strict on exact check in even though the unit was clearly unoccupied and ready . The property customer service reps were very polite ( you’re not dealing directly with an owner on this unit ) , however , not helpful in giving us a little wiggle room on checking in early which was a bit disappointing.

Location is fantastic- mid island, as close to the beach as possible and walkable to many restaurants as well as the only grocery on the island. Other than that this house is in desperate need of an update. The beds have to be 30 years old. The living room furniture is meant for a sunroom- not for sitting for a while. I don’t see how you could fit more than 4 people here- yes there are technically beds for 8 but there is not enough space for 8 people to

This house was perfect, some retro 80’s beach decor with a decent ocean view, walking distance of most of the shops and restaurants on Tybee. Would definitely stay here again. Note:carpets described in prior review have all been removed, vinyl flooring was in perfect condition.
The porch on this home is perfect, always a breeze and very comfortable furnishings. Nice to be just a few blocks from the grocery store with only one major street to cross and could also walk to several close by restaurants for lunch and breakfast. Although it was just the two of us the house was perfect for a family of 7 or less.

We had a wonderful trip at Ocean Walk! The house is in a perfect location, right on the beach - and the set up was great for a big family. Coming in from the beach was easy with the outdoor shower, and then the wet room right inside the door. The kids loved the game room in the garage and the deck upstairs had a beautiful view. We hope to return soon!
This property was the perfect location. You can watch beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the amazing and huge porch. The grocery store was write across the street. The carpet desperately needs changing. Thank you Ocean Walk
You can't beat the location! It is at the end of a short, residential street with the boardwalk to the beach just steps away from the driveway. The outdoor space is fantastic with lots of seating and a great grill. Easy walk to the Pier. The main floor has 2 bedrooms right off the living area. There is a 3rd bedroom downstairs on the garage, street level. the house could use some updating, but overall it suited our family of 6 perfectly.
This house could not be in a better location. Mid-beach, quiet area, and the wonderful screened veranda offers breezes and sun or shade just when you want it. You can hear the waves from there, as well as the birds singing in the dunes, and the fact that there are sliding doors opening to the living area is a big plus. The carpets have been replaced with engineered marble tiles and they are warmer and softer than ceramic. Indoor and outdoor furniture and beds were comfortable and everything was clean. All good! That said, the bathroom plumbing fixtures are in sad shape and it's anyone's guess which way to turn them for on/off; one dripped constantly; neither of the hot water spigots in the kitchen were operational; the blender was well past its prime (couldn't puree a cubed cucumber). Nothing was important enough to warrant a call to the managers but for the price I felt that these items should have been seen to. Be sure to bring your own spices and paper products (the paper towels supplied were like tissue paper). All of that took it from 5 to 4 stars. Still, the home has so many positives I would definitely rent it again!
Ocean Walk was a great place to stay for our family! Plenty of space for everyone and the porch was great!

Great location but needs MAJOR updates
The location is amazing. The house has great potential. But the photos on this rental page are outdated (they were probably taken several years ago.)
The common area carpets are very stained. And several of the appliances do not work (some examples: free standing ice maker - which had black mold, oven hood, front right stove eye.)
We also experienced a water leak issue and a broken A/C. The latter A/C issue was reported and maintenance showed up in a timely fashion to repair it. But about the water leak: there was significant water damage to the ceiling of the downstairs bedroom, which we reported upon arrival. We were made aware that the leak had already been reported and inspected by maintenance personnel who were unable to recreate the issue. The next day, part of the ceiling fell off onto the floor and daybed. It's very frustrating that this wasn't disclosed to us before arrival and that little was done to repair it during or before our stay. We had family members (70 and 90 years old) staying in that room and I worried about the ceiling caving in all week.
Again, the 11th Terrace location is awesome. The beach access is great. But for the price, the property needs updated.
Beautiful property with short walk over private walkway to the beach. Especially loved the screened porch to enjoy the view and sea breezes. Comfortable house with three bedrooms with king beds and bathroom for each of the couples in our group. Convenient to local shopping, restaurants, local sites and historic Savannah. Definitely stay again!!
This house worked out great for our family of four. Parents had their own bedroom and bathroom suite while kids each had their own bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms. Location was ideal - right next to private beach access for the other few homes on the “street” (had more of an alley feel). Local grocery store about 100 yd walk from the house. Weather was cold, so we couldn’t take full advantage of the huge porch. Island was mostly private homes, some locally owned hotels, local businesses & community offices - no high rise condos or hotels. Easy, short drive to Savannah.
