"The overall experience was great. My sisters and I had a good, relaxing time fishing and enjoying the scenery once we got settled in. The outside area was amazing. However, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the cabin and lack of attention to it. The ac unit was covered in such thick dust that I had to wipe it off and then noticed what looked like mold on the vents of the ac unit. All of the fans were loaded down with years of dust. We couldn't even turn the ceiling fan on, nor the upstairs fan. I had to clean the bathroom/shower. There was hair all over it. All of the appliances were dirty, along with the dishes and utensils needing cleaned before we used them. The grill was so dirty that we couldn't get it to stop smoking enough to even use it. The beds were also so hard and lumpy that we didn't get much sleep. I tried to reach out through email, twice, to the owner, and never did get a response. I didn't want to bother him with a phone call because it wasn't of that importance. However, if I'm going to spend nearly $700 for 2 nights I expect a little more detail to the cabin. It did hurt a little to see such high charges for lack of detail to cleaning. After all of that being said though, it is a wonderful set up with the lake, trails and the seclusion of the area with no one else being around. I'm glad we got the chance to spend a couple of days there."

"Overall was a great place for a family getaway for the weekend. Plenty of room for our large group to enjoy a meal between the dining table and the outside patio area. It is very rural, definitely download the area map before heading that way. Noises carry, bring a fan or noise machine if you have small kids that are light sleeper. Host was very quick to respond to questions. We enjoyed exploring the grounds- minus the wasps."
