"Awesome place "

"We picked the absolute best place to stay in Iowa for scouting for Bald Eagles. It was centrally located to all the places I wanted to go. The house is beautiful and spotless. All of the back of the house has views of the Mississippi river, which was stunning. The water was frozen over, but you could see ducks here and there and a couple of eagles as well. It was just beautiful. The house had plenty of room felt very spacious and had little sitting area to look out over the Mississippi river, which I loved. There’s also a bar room, which would be really awesome in the summer. It has a dartboard and a bar area and a seating area and a TV with a door that opens up to the patio where there’s a fire pit. I can’t say enough good things about this place if you book it, you won’t be disappointed. I hope to stay here again possibly in the summer and definitely next eagle season. Thank you so much. Also, there was a coffee nook where they provided snacks, which was a bonus. Most places don’t do that. The kitchen was great with a very nice gas stove and nice big refrigerator. It really had everything you could possibly need."

"My family needed to be in the area for a celebration of life and so glad we found this place! Was not at all familiar with the area and didn’t know what to expect and we were very pleasantly surprised!The host was great at communicating, kept checking in to make sure we had everything we needed and recommended the perfect spot right down the street to accommodate us for dinner! The home is very cozy, quaint, and inviting! Very clean and stocked with what we needed. Hot tub was clean and perfect for this time of year in January! It’s right on the river and the view is stunning. Watched eagles flying by and it was beautiful. The neighborhood was very quiet. We’ll have to come back for the summer to be able use the other amenities like the pool, play equipment, etc. but again we were so fortunate to find this place for what we needed! Highly recommend! "

"Beautiful home, beautiful view, lovely time. Karlee and Gary are great communicators and hosts. We, a group of 4 friends, appreciated their thoughtful touches and intentional care in setting up the property. The winter view is amazing, great for bird (esp. eagle) watching. Cosy and clean! I hope to come again someday with my family. "
