This is an authentic, unique and beautiful Balinese experience. You can walk to the center of busy Ubud, or stay in the quite oasis provided by the cottages and gardens of the hotel.

Excellent stay in Ubud

We had a lovely stay at Alam Indah. The hotel is in an excellent location, in a sort of small suburb just away from the centre of Ubud, much quieter but still walkable via track around the edge of the Monkey Forest. There are plenty of good restaurants/cafes within 5 minutes walk. The staff were very welcoming and extremely capable in providing us with information and helping arrange excursions. The hotel also provides a free shuttle service to Ubud and back that can be arranged via whatsapp - this was incredibly useful. Room was as advertised, lovely big bed and great views over the valley. Design/curtains in the room mean it gets quite light in the morning - bring an eyemask if light-sensitive, but this was really no trouble. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent place for rest and relaxation

It was ten years since my last visit and I made a promise to myself that I wouldn't wait for another ten. Alam Indah is above all else peaceful and beautiful. The staff are kind and lovely. Breakfast was amazing. There's a limited menu for dinner, but the food is flavorful and satisfying.

Wunderschönes Hotel in Dschungel

Es war alles perfekt während unseres Aufenthaltes. Das Hotel besitzt eine wunderschön angelegte Gartenanlage und bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick über den anliegenden Affenwald. Ein perfekter Ort um von Lärm und Trubel im Zentrum Ubuds abzuschalten, obwohl dieses problemlos innerhalb von 15min zu Fuß erreichbar ist. Für wen das zu weit ist, das Hotel bietet einen kostenlosen Fahrdienst innerhalb Ubuds an. Service uns Essen waren ebenfalls perfekt.

Jungle Like enviroment

Very close to Monkey Forest in fact some monkeys came and visited us. Very close to UBUD shops. A relaxing place surrounded by Monkeys and Jungle. Kept awake at night by neighbours dogs barking.
