Liked everything. So peaceful quiet an cool away from the noise an hot sun. The owner was great friendly, welcoming an very helpful. A oasis in the city i would describe it. Home from home. Would recommend it to anybody to stay.

The hosts here are fantastic, friendly, helpful and go the extra mile to make you feel at home. Good breakfasts, easy walk to the beach (taxi back though as very steep roads!) . We had a great stay and would thoroughly recommend.

Highly Recommended - Wonderful Hospitality
This place was perfect. More than I expected. The hosts were so wonderful and welcoming. They also offered some recommendations on things to do in the area. The space itself was comfortable and so nice to hang out. I had to make myself leave because I was so happy there. There is a bar, couches with a fireplace, a cabana type area, a pool, and the breakfast and the breakfast area was so cute as well. I highly recommend this place. It gives the warm feeling of a happy home as opposed to staying in a hotel where you can never find this type of warmth.

Delightful, comfortable, clean guest houses
HoneyPot guest house is a dream location with a separate porch for each guest room, lovely honey-scented bath soaps, and a pool and garden pathway. The space is gated and guarded and feels peaceful and secluded though it is close to malls and airport.

Great Service, great stay!
Heather and Bob is two fantastic hosts. They are friendly and helpful. The whole team made our stay memorable. The breakfast is great, the environment is tranquil! I will definitely recommend Honey Pot B&B to my friends.

We were only there for one night. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and the room was very comfortable. The only problem was a security light that came on outside the window and lit up the room a bit during the night. I am sure though that had we been staying an extra night the hosts would have sorted this out. We had a trailer which we were able to park in a secure parking area and Rob helped with hitching and unhitching it which was very kind. The location was very central to restuarants shopping centres and the beach. I would certainly go back there. The breakfast was excellent!

Great birthday treat in Umhlanga
I arranged a trip to Umhlanga with my folks for my Mum's birthday and our stay at the Honeypot was perfect - the location was a very short drive to the promenade and beach for walks and swimming in the sea and also very close to numerous great restaurants. The accommodation was top class, very clean with all the amenities you could ask for, gracious hosts and a really fabulous breakfast. Thank you for a memorable stay!

Very Pleasant Stay
Had a lovely 7 night stay at the guesthouse. Rooms were spotless, spacious and nicely furnished. Beds were comfortable and had a nice little patio area to sit in. Breakfast was delicious and there was a wide range of foods on offer. Nice little bar to help yourself to drinks and write into a little bar book. Didn't use the pool during stay but it was lovely and clean. Heather and Bob are a lovely, welcoming couple who we enjoyed spending time with chatting. They were very helpful when asked about locations of things and best way to get places. The guesthouse is only 10mins walk from the beach and I would class it as a little gem of a place to stay when at the resort.

Warm, friendly, very accommodating.
Heather and Bob could not have been more welcoming and were very happy for us to use our room and the pool all day. We were so pleased we had booked to return at the end of our holiday and we will definitely stay there again next time we are in Durban.

Nice BnB ... Value for money
The couple who own this bnb are very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts are good and staff are friendly. No sea views, but about a 1km walk to the beach and restaurants at Umhlanga Rocks. Rooms are comfortable. Good value for money.

Great Hospitality - Great Location
We enjoyed our one night stay at the HoneyPot. Enjoyed talking to the owner. Room was small but very nice for the price point. Liked the coziness of the property. It was far enough away from the hubbub in the area to be peaceful and relaxing but close enough for an easy walk to the restaurants in the main tourist area nearby. This made it very convenient for us.

Vi kan verkligen rekommendera Honey pot B&B. Det är ett jättemysigt , genuint och fint ställe. Värdparet Bob och Heather ser till att vistelsen blir så bra som möjligt. De hjälper till att boka taxi och rekommenderar de bästa restaurangerna och ger gärna tips om de olika aktiviteterna som finns att göra och att se. Honey pot har ett utmärkt läge i området med endast 10 minuters promenad väg till allt som Umhlanga har att erbjuda.
