"The hotel is off the main road and a 5-10 minute walk to the the main street with restaurants, shopping, beaches etc. Hotel room is simple, nice and clean. Hotel staff is accomodating, always have a smile, are welcoming and happy :) Booked for 1 night and ended up extending for the length of my time in Siargao. Overall loved the hotel!"

"It’s quiet, staff are ok; the only thing I did not like about the property is check time which is 11am, 10:45am a staff rang the bell and reminded me that I have to check out at 11am which I knew, it seems like they want to get me out of the room quick so that they can get it ready for the next guest which I understand. They should have wait until 11am before they tell the guest that it’s check out time. Other than that I’m ok with the facility "

"The Hotel Retreat Siargao Resort is an excellent location for all the people who wanted to visit Siargao. Jason Ha and the wife Reni is an excellent host. They will provide you with a bottle of red wine and a 7 course dinner on your first day in Siargao. The location is about 30 minutes from cloud 9 and from the Corgi Isla. Thank you Jason & Reni and it is well appreciated."

"First off...Mitch was an absolute top notch host! Very accommodating and a wealth of knowledge for us 1st time travelers to Siargao! The grounds were beautiful, well kept and relaxing finishes! There was a little construction going on next door but it didn't bother is much. The location is about 5 minutes tuk tuk ride to General Luna city center where you'll find LOTS of shops, restaurants, bars, wellness centers etc! Book your stay with Mitch at Casa Basa, enjoy Siargao by day and a relaxing swim in their new pool during the evening hours! You'll enjoy your accommodations without a doubt! =) "
