"Loved our stay at the Lake Oconee lake house. The house had everything we needed for our week stay. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the morning and evenings to watch the happenings with our coffee or happy hour beverage. My husband loved that the walk from the breakfast table to his boat docked outside was just a few steps away. It really doesn't get much better than that. The cove the house is on was very quiet. The birds and fireflies were the most common visitors we saw. The kitchen had anything we could think of needing. The linens were well stocked, and the washer and dryer were very convenient for use. We did leave the house for a few boat rides around the lake, and what a beautiful lake it is. My husband was just beginning to figure out the fish and managed to catch a few keepers. Would love to come back again for some more R&R which means fishing for my husband. Our host was wonderful and if we had a question we had a reply very quickly. Thank you for that. Highly recommend this lake house."

"This home was PERFECT for our large family lakehouse vacation! It easily accommodated 23 family members ranging from 3 to 93 and provided a perfect balance private, relaxing space and family gathering space! Even the rustic cabin was adorable (although you do have to be comfortable walking to and from it at night (it's about 100 yards from the main house). The pool and spa and patio with tv were great for watching the World Cup and having out with the kids! And boating, kayaking, fishing, etc from the dock (also about 100 yards from the main house) was super convenient! The horses were beautiful to watch, and my favorite spot was the oversized swing on the front porch...best nap.ever! Would definitely rent this spot again."

"This house was perfect for what we wanted to do. We wanted to stay on a lake, while being close enough to Atlanta so we could spend a couple of days in the city. Btw-the aquarium is amazing. The cove was perfect for kayaking and fishing without having to cross paths with some of the bigger boats and the jet skis in the larger part of the lake. The house had everything we needed to make meals at the house. The covered part of the porch was a great place to read or eat outside without getting too much sun. We grilled some nights and sat out by the fire pit most nights while my son fished from the dock after being in the kayak all day fishing. The host was very quick to respond to all of my questions."
