Stay in a renovated private "smart" apartment above this 1920's home in Uniondale.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place.

This well-furnished second floor apartment has its own entrance, a full kitchen, two bedrooms with queen sized beds, a queen-size pull-out sofa in the living room, one full bath with shower and tub, and street parking. Your stay comes with amenities to assist in your comfort.

It’s likely you won’t see me during your stay, which allows you more privacy and convenience. However, I live on the lower floors of the home with my family, and I am here anytime you need to reach out.

Please note, there is No Smoking inside of the apartment. Guests will incur additional charges if smoking is detected inside of the unit.

There are security cameras that surround the exterior of the house that record and are monitored 24/7.

Great property in quiet neighborhood but close to shops, etc. Very clean, complimentary toiletries, comfortable beds, multiple AC units which cooled down the unit well and quickly. Would definitely stay again when in the area!

Nice place

This apartment was a nice place for what we were there for. Fairly close to visiting our daughter. We didn’t spend a lot of time as we were busy seeing sites and doing activities with our daughter. The place was nice had everything we needed. I would stay here again when we come back

Weekend trip

We traveled to Long Island to attend a jiu jitsu tournament that my son was in. The house was conveniently located to many things of interest. The neighborhood felt very safe.

This house was perfect! Super cozy, clean, fully stocked with toilettries, amenities and special touches. And close to my daughter's apartment! We had a fabulous stay! Home owners are very sweet and accommodating. Highly recommend... much better than hotel!

My son and I stayed here for 8 nights. We really appreciated how clean and comfortable our upstairs space was. It was large and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The snacks and drinks were an extra nice touch. Would definitely stay again!

Fabulous apartment & great location.

We had a lovely short stay here from which we explored LongIsland. A beautiful apartment, well presented with thoughtful details and very comfortable . High tech was a bonus. Would definitely recommend.

Nice Quiet Place

We stayed here to visit with our son from USMMA. It was about 30 mins from there. The space was nice and quiet and beds were very comfortable. We usually cook when we stay at places and this place could use a little more baking pans or better skillets. But other than that we really liked our stay.

Power goes out if you use ac unit and hairdryer at the same time

We were in town for my son’s graduation. It’s a top floor apartment over an old house. Outside was nice but inside the apartment it was extremely hot. We tried to run portable AC units to cool down but the power went out. There was no way we could stay so I notified the owner that we were leaving. Never heard back. Would never recommend this place in warm weather.

Smart Tech home-NO!

If you update some switches and lights that doesn't constitute a smart home. Stairway up stairs so narrow and difficult to maneuver. Door in bathroom must have been 18 inches wide. Kitchen was too small so two people could just about fit. Floor seemed to slope downward. Beds were extremely difficult to get in and out for 2 people. Rooms so small that you hardly could maneuver into the closets. Only some wall switches worked. Only redeeming factor was that it was clean . Housekeeping rang bell at EXACTLY check out time.

Clean and quaint, with flaws

This otherwise charming space earns several demerits that made the guest experience less agreeable than it could of been. Foremost among them was a raised wooden strip -- separating the bedroom from the hall -- that was both loose and of the same color as the floor. We only became aware of it after one of us tripped over it in the night and nearly fell. This hazard should not only have been repaired, but clearly marked. Secondly, the bathroom sink was stopped, causing water needed for washing and brushing teeth to drain very slowly. Finally, this unit did not have functional heating, and space heaters were not made available on request. Ambient nighttime temperatures on Long Island can drop below comfortable levels in October, making provisions for adding warmth an essential, if needed. Taken together, these shortcomings marred what could have been a more pleasant stay. I am surprised and disappointed that Vrbo does not hold owners to higher standards prior to qualifying their properties for rent.
