"One of the best hotels for meeting our expectations of responsiveness of staff, safety, cleanliness, light levels, big frig and parking. I recommend but not fancy just nice."

Top University of Portland Hotel Reviews
Park Lane Suites and Inn
10/10 Excellent
"You may not believe me after reading this, but no, I am not a social media influencer, or trying to get your attention; I am just an extremely satisfied customer driven to write this review because of the top tier experience I had. This establishment defines what it means to have good service. Where to begin? The staff are personable and cheerful, and they went above and beyond their call of duty from the reception desk. The room itself is above expectations for the price point, and everything clears a higher bar than it needs to. Clean sheets, spotless room, excellent water pressure in the shower, fast wifi, and all the amenities that you can ask for in a safe & secure neighborhood - not too far from the urbanization. There's plenty of parking, a fitness room, as well as laundry facilities & a stellar common lounge & patio. A really superb experience, and a great location too, walking distance to some really tasty cafés & sit-down restaurants that you can really indulge at with all the money you've saved because of the reasonable rate here. Highly recommend."
"This hotel is right downtown Portland. It has an elegant feeling without being pretentious. I enjoyed the later check out and the ability to walk around exploring Portland. Having a $10 credit to my meal/bar tab was an outstanding way to be welcomed after a long day of travel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will hope to stay there again. "
"There were so many different utilities that were available especially for being THAT cheap. I could have paid $300 for one night and still have been happy. Great stay."
"The staff were absolutely wonderful and I provided a nice room for my disabled daughter and I on the first floor. The second day my key was not working and the manager actually noticed that it wasn’t working and by the time I turned around to get a new key, he had already met me in the parking lot with a new one! I have never had such great service! Room 101 was the best, it had a full kitchen, a table that had four chairs, four windows on three walls. The kitchen was stocked with every pot, pan, and utensil one could possibly want. It was a bit retro with plywood cupboards, but we don’t mind that kind of thing. The beds were very comfortable and had beautiful headboards. The sleeping area was carpeted, which was nice for doing morning stretches. The bathtub was comfortable and had a nice working plug. The hotel is on the light rail, but it was quiet day and night. Within four blocks walk, there was a Fred Meyer and multiple eating establishments. We felt very safe walking in the neighborhood during the day."
"Angela was an amazing host and even kept me company on my birthday ! She became more than a host in a very special way, and I felt safe around her. Will be booking again whenever I'm in town "
