"The Hatchery is a lovely place to stay. Located on the Mississippi River, we had such a good time walking on the paths and looking at wildlife, especially the eagles. Our hosts were very accommodating and gave us great advice on places to eat & fun things to check out in the area. We would definitely stay here again when traveling to Lacrosse. Thanks Again to Marty, Tiff & and the Hatchery team for providing such a pleasant experience. "

"It's a dive motel but it was clean and the showers had good water pressure. The bed and pillows were comfortable as well. There was a little smell of stale cigarette smoke but that's typical of somewhere this inexpensive. If you really want to save money, this place is an acceptable option for visiting La Crosse."
