"The room was very clean! The staff was very friendly and helpful. For a hotel bed, it was comfortable. We were too busy to swim, but the pool looked great! Hot tub was out of order. We took advantage (enjoyed) the breakfast that was included. We would stay here again. And we would recommend this place to family and friends!"
Relaxing cabin on Beaver Lake, by Namekagon River and close to Hayward

"Host was an excellent communicator and property was just as advertised. Great quiet spot to relax for the weekend. Nice campfire pits, dock for fishing, little sandy beach just a short walk down from the property. The only down side was that the house tap water was very smelly, like sulfur. Guessing there is no water treatment system but it was enough that a shower was really unappealing. Other than that, it was a great relaxing time!"

"The hotel was well maintained and clean The staff was courteous and helpful. The hotel was well located and offered convenient access to the City of Spooner. The one major deficit was the noise level coming from an adjoining room. The TV was played loudly in that room and was on late into the night. The hotel could use some noise mitigation improvements."

"Lots of sheets and towels, toilet paper and tissues. Plenty. Plenty of stuff in the kitchen and beautiful setting. Our host was very good. Communicating had a few minor problems, Small disappointment, gas fireplace in main living room did not work. Also had issues the first day with very spotty Wi-Fi.And cleaning was an issue with too many cobwebs, spiders dust most of the windows and corners. Vacuuming and floor cleaning not very good.I did it and picked up a lot of dust and dirtBetter cleaning should be priority for the premium price that is charged.I would recommend to others because no animals or pets allowed."

"Our stay at this property was perfect. The place is extremely clean, comfortable, and well done. The beds were great, the kitchen was well equipped, and having smart tv's in each room was appreciated. The host responded very quickly to a random question I had and was very kind. We will definitely look to stay here again when in the area. It's perfect for a peaceful stay."

"We spent our 33rd anniversary here. Had the best time. Very clean and plenty of room. Couple of friends came up for 3 nights and used the downstairs area and loved it felt like their own space. In to town is close and lots was going on. We brought our boat and launch was super simple and also within a mile or two. Highly recommend! Hosts were very nice and available if needed. Thank you for sharing your place."

"The cottage was clean and comfortable. Loved sitting on the deck. It was quiet and a beautiful view of the lake. It was nice for 3 of us. The only down side was the men in our group are pretty big guys. The the beds and bathroom were small for them."
