"I’ve read other reviews so maybe this is specific to room 303 where we stayed. The bathroom was pretty disgusting. Water stains on the ceiling, toilet paper roll about to fall off the wall, the distance between the sink and wall would not be sufficient for a larger person, mold in the shower conditioner bottle and the shower had a strong sewage odor. We asked to switch rooms and was told there was not another room available. I would not recommend this hotel."

"Not enough towels and wash cloths. Living space is not comfortable. Living room only has a small unstable futon that is not comfortable. Kitchen chairs are unstable as well. Had to bring in outdoor chairs for some level of comfortable seating. Suggest: Sectional sofa in the living room would have been ideal. CONCERN: There is gas leak somewhere in the kitchen area. Please check to make sure the stove fixture can turn off adequately.Water heater is making a rattling noise.Otherwise, the space is nice, family friendly and the location is close to everything."

"Older hotel, but located very close to the zoo and some other attractions. Very friendly staff, and the breakfast restaurant on the main level was great each morning. "

"This hotel had the perfect location for my purposes. The room and bathroom was very clean, the bed was very comfortable. The staff was short tempered, and did not give clear directions. At first they forgot to give me the key, so I didn't know my room number. Then, they told me to go park in the garage, under the hotel. It looked like you were heading into a garbage dump. Then, the directions for using the garage code was not clear. However, it all worked out well in the end. I will stay there happily next year now that I understand the set up."

"Not sure why this place has a resort fee. But maybe because the rooftop was closed out of season while I was there (opens Memorial Day?) The gym is big and well outfitted, but no pool or sauna or even showers outside the main room. There is a restaurant/bar on-site that is nice, but being a guest doesn’t seem to have any benefit. Good location, nice building. Some of the staff were helpful, others seemed overworked or generally put out. We had a major issue with no hot water for several hours which went uncompensated even though I explained I had to take a cold shower to get ready for my event. No attempt to get me to a space with a hot shower available. The nighttime door was locked and keys wouldn’t get us in, so another guest had to let a group of us in, no staff in sight. Made me nervous to go out later, so I stayed in. Pretty room, nice art, overall could be a luxury stay if the staff could keep up with the issues guests experienced."
