Wingate By Wyndham Niagara Falls

"Stayed here for a birthday weekend with my bestie. Walking distance to Niagara Falls State Park, ample on-site parking, and impressive breakfast buffet were big pluses! Cleanliness of the room was just OK. DirectTV did not work. Shampoo & conditioner bottles in the shower were empty, but it looked like someone had spilled one of them on the floor between the tub and the sink, and it was never cleaned up. Also noticed a questionable stain on the ceiling (EEW!). My mattress was upside down--the pillow top was on the bottom! The front desk didn't answer the phone, so went down in person and was told that there were no maintenance people available, but they did send up their tiniest housekeeper to assist. She and I managed to flip the mattress, and she quickly re-made the bed. After that correction, the mattress was super comfortable and I had a great night's sleep! Overall, the positives (price, location, parking, good breakfast) outweighed the minor annoyances. Decent value for the money, especially for families on a budget."

"Excellent stay here!!!! Stayed in the value double queen room and it was actually very nice, no complaints at all. The breakfast and lunch during the day was very delicious. Property was well maintained and clean the entire trip. Even the beach area was excellent. They take well care of the Georgian and I will definitely be back. I’ve stayed at the Surfside and Fort William Henry in the past and this is by far my favorite place to stay. Easy walk to town. Could not recommend enough."

"I wish they had more pillows. I woke up each day with the worst backache. I asked for more pillows but was told they didn't have any more. the breakfast buffet was substandard. i should have just ordered room service. the pancakes at the buffet were too thin and barely cooked. no toast available either, and the potatoes were not fried. looked like a pile of boiled plain potatoes. Next time will need to eat elsewhere or try room service. Room was excellent, our view was beautiful. staff was courteous."

"The hotel was okay. They assisted whenever we needed it. The room we had the bathroom sink was leaking when you turned the water on. My second room didn't have a fridge and my family member needed a fridge for his insulin. Overall the location was fine."
