Harry and his partner should be congratulated on how beautiful the grounds are, for how well furnished the rooms are and for how well run the lodge is. The staff at reception and in the restaurant were outstanding and the quality of the food was excellent. Also having the beautiful gardens to wander around watching the wild birds and three species of monkey was unforgettable. "This is a great hotel right in the middle of Arusha. Good breakfast, spacious rooms and a big beautiful garden to wander through. Take advantage of happy hour in the Hatari Bar. A few notes: Arusha is a busy, noisy city and you're right in the middle of it. Don't expect rooms near the road to be quiet. Doesn't bother us as we live in a busy city, but might bother you if you're not used to it. The front desk will arrange a driver for you to take you wherever you need to go, but there are a few decent coffeeshops/restaurants you can walk to, as well."
