"Esta fue la segunda vez que nos hospedamos en el Hotel Faranda durante una de mis visitas a Colombia. Decidimos regresar porque realmente nos gusta el hotel: las instalaciones y las amenidades son muy bonitas, las habitaciones son cómodas, la comida estuvo deliciosa y el desayuno fue excelente. En esta ocasión teníamos tres habitaciones reservadas: una para mi pareja y para mí, otra para un amigo y otra para una amiga que se casaba. Sin embargo, nos llevamos una gran decepción cuando quisieron cobrarnos cargos adicionales para permitir que la mamá, la hermana y la maquillista de la novia entraran a su habitación durante aproximadamente dos horas para ayudarla a maquillarse, vestirse y prepararse para la boda. Estas personas no se iban a hospedar ni a utilizar las instalaciones del hotel. Solamente iban a ayudar a la novia a prepararse y luego se retirarían. Nos pareció una política muy poco considerada, especialmente porque ya habíamos pagado tres habitaciones, era nuestra segunda estadía en el hotel y se trataba de una ocasión tan especial. Debido a esta situación, la novia tuvo que sacar nuevamente del hotel su vestido y todas sus pertenencias para ir a prepararse a otro hotel cercano, donde sí le permitieron entrar con su mamá, su hermana y la maquillista. Esto fue muy incómodo, estresante e innecesario justo antes de su boda, y también provocó que todos pasáramos mucho más tiempo fuera del Faranda. El hotel tiene muchas cosas positivas y nos gusta mucho."
