"We spent almost three hours looking for our accomodation. None of the locals knew where it was and despite being informed over email that 'my unit would be guaranteed with law arrivals' it was not. We found the hotel several times but had no answer. Oh and one more thing, I booked this because Expedia stated that it was 4.4km from the airport, perfect for me to catch my flight the next morning. "This is an excellent hotel when in transit or having early flight out of Colombo. We arrived into Colombo around midnight and our transfer driver was waiting to take us to vila diva as we had arranged which was included in the rate for our stay. The next morning we were transported very promptly back to the airport for a small fee. Both the room and transport car were exceptionally clean. I would highly recommend vila diva transit hotel for quality, service, location and friendliness"

colombo international airport hotel

10/10 Excellent

"(positives). Brand new international standard hotel, 2 minute taxi ride from the Airport. Beds are great. Walk-in shower is very ‘on trend’. US $50 a night, for a basic room is good value. (could be improved) Add a make-up / shaving light over the bathroom sink’s mirror. Add a fire-exit map on the back of the room door. Add fire/emergency/exit signage in the corridors. Add Snacks/drinks & price list, in the empty mini-bar or Add info about Uber Eats ( as no restaurants in the hotel). (negatives) none."

"All of the staff were very attentive to all of our needs. Cleaning staff did an amazing job. The breakfast buffet was amazing. If you needed anything not in the buffet , the staff would try to accommodate your special needs . All of the managers were friendly and accommodated any special needs that We requested. The Hotel is in a great location close to the ocean . The only issue We found was that the pool was located far from the main building. It was a struggle to get to the pool because of the distance and stairs to get there. Otherwise the pool area was very clean and a great size . Would definitely stay there again on my next trip to Srilanka."

Their professionalism and attention to detail made my stay completely stress-free. The entire staff were warm, friendly, and always willing to help with a smile. Their excellent service really stood out and made me feel welcome throughout my stay. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Amari Sri Lanka and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay, outstanding service, and beautiful surroundings.
