Hyatt House Salt Lake City Downtown
10/10 Excellent
"Enjoyed our room, king bed with den very much. Check in was easy. Staff were friendly. Recommended!"
"Such a great place to stay in downtown SLC and if you get a room on the east side that's high enough you can look down at the temple (which was unfortunately being renovated while we were there but that's okay - still a beautiful view of downtown and the Wasatch mountains). As per usual with Hyatt properties the staff were very helpful and friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Upgrade for the breakfast as it's very good and all-you-can-eat with made to order omelets and entrees. For dinner definitely try the Red Iguana for authentic, delicious Mexican food. It's a few minutes drive and if going during the weekend, make a reservation. We will be back to stay at the Hyatt Regency, that's for sure!"
"Amazing! Simply spectacular stay. Staff was so hospitable and helpful. Room was gorgeous, spacious, comfortable snd clean. We stayed on the grounds the entire visit at the end of a tour and enjoyed every amenity. "
"Room was nice and clean. Very comfortable bed and bedding. We had a gorgeous view of the mountain, the capital & temple. It was a short walk to the mall. This was our first time at the Radisson and we would come back again. Only reason for 1 less star is because we requested fresh towels since we opted to not have our room cleaned. We were told that housekeeping would come up with it. They never did. "
"Had a great one night stay at the Hyatt; check in and checkout took about two minutes each, breakfast was great, and we had a room with a nice view of downtown and the mountains.
The only real issue was parking; we paid $15 for a night of parking in the hotel lot (perfectly reasonable price), but when we left and came back late that night the lot was full and we had to pay for street parking. Also, one odd quirk was having no outlets next to our bed.
In general great stay:)"
"It was our first time doing VRBO. We decided to do a VRBO because of our family size. We wanted to be near things to do and be able to get on the interstate easily to get over to Lagoon, shops in Sandy. We were by Gateway area, tons to do, great food, walking distance. Our host was so responsive and checked in with us asked if we needed any suggestions of things to do or food. We had two 12 year old boys-loved the pool, my 17 year old girls loved to tan and drove all over the place. Our family will be returning for more adventures!!! Thanks Daniel!!!"
