We’re not notified of smaller cabin until after fees were deducted from card. The booking site said camp bed available on request but manager had no clue. My teenage son spent the nights in a swag that we bought with us. Cabin was 6x2m, not suitable for family of 4. Hot water not switched to full gas tank before we arrived. Wifi provided but didn’t work. Cupboards dirty, stains on pull out couch mattress cover and extra blankets unwashed and smelly. After 2 nights, we left a day earlier because of of all of the above.

The property is close enough to the attractions with the feeling of getting away from it all.
The first day we spent a long morning relaxing then went to Panella Park, returned for a rest and did the night show at the park.
The next morning we went to the Ma:Mu sky walk then returned to Mena Creek Flower House and waded in the creek during the afternoon.
The balcony makes the cabin special. A Ulysses butterfly fluttered by.

We were greeted by the lovely owner Sarah who told us about the creek at the back of the property for swimming & offered the aqua ducks to use. She gave great tips about Paronella Park & the shows she recommended to see.
We stayed in the Green Acres cabin & loved the deck overlooking the paddock. It was quiet & comfortable & we would revisit for sure.

Lovely location on the edge the rain forest. Comfortable cabins with pleasant outlook. Our host set us up nicely, including an invite to swim in the local water hole. Short drive to the pub for dinner. Well worth a couple of nights.

Amazing property! Wonderful quiet location & modern comfortable cabin. Even the sofa bed was great. Thanks Sarah for all the local area information!
The property was located well out of the usual 10 Klm distance zone for this type of B&B accomdation. Having said that, the veiws/ outlook was spectacular. Phone coverage was one existent and the wi fi was only just there. But the up side was that you got peace and quiet. The cabin provided was new and so was very tidy and clean. The host made you feel welcome and went out of his way to make sure you were comfortable. Overall a great spot for a romantic get away but teens would be bored very quickly. Good value for money and a top spot to get away too.

A beautiful little patch of paradise and a thoughtfully designed and luxurious little cabin. Breakfast provisions were excellent and quiet early mornings on the deck with a good cup of coffee was memorable. Loved the dogs and the hosts and the perfect little creek. We will be back for more.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay! We experienced a very friendly welcome & the kitchen space was full with a lovely fruit bowl, fresh bread, cheese, salads, juice & milk. It is definitely a little slice of heaven. We spent most of our time sitting on the deck staring at the view. A short walk to the private swimming hole is a must to check out. We can’t wait to go back.

This was my 2nd visit to Mena Creek Flower House and I would stay there each time I come up and visit Paronella Park. The hospitality, location, view and awesome breakfast are all excellent. Sarah is always very welcoming and the addition of having the dog pats and seeing the sausage dog puppy was an added bonus, highly recommend staying here.
A cosy and modern-feeling cottage. It is located in a beautiful and secluded rainforest garden, with a hidden watering hole at the back. We stayed for one night so that we were close to Paronella Park, but I would have happily stayed for longer, just to relax and getaway from the rest of the world. The property owner (and her adorable dachshunds) are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided with local tropical fruits, meat and cheese was delicious, and nice for us to try some fruits we do not commonly eat back home.
It was so beautiful and away from everyday life. We slept, we ate, we swam in the private creek all afternoon. Breakfast was amazing! We stayed 2 nights... Next time it will be 3 nights!
Thank you so much for having us Sarah and Andrew!
See you both again soon,
Jade and Dean 🙂
A great place to relax. Accomodation was really comfortable and it was lovely to be surrounded by the chickens, birds and gorgeous & very friendly dogs! Breakfast was delicious and different on both mornings and certainly filled us up for our days adventures. Was also great to have Paronella Park & the Mena Creek hotel (serves up delicious meals) only 7 minutes away! Thank you to Sarah and Andrew who have made Mena Creek Flower House a little piece of paradise for all of us to enjoy.
Very modern little cabin on a beautiful farm. Woke up to the sound of song birds and roosters. Amazing breakfast. Any issues ie hot water, blankets were resolved just by walking over or giving them a call.
Beautiful unit overlooking rolling green hills. Incredible for birding. Just about the only thing you can hear is birdsong. Comfortable bed and couch, simple but efficient kitchen. You could come here and not have to leave the whole time. And the breakfast provided is fresh with tropical fruit. Our stay could not be faulted.
The location was fantastic, and we really enjoyed our stay. It was clean and tidy, with a great view across the valley. Having access to the creek was really nice, and the breakfast was very tasty indeed. The only minor issue was the Wifi signal was too weak to reach my partner's phone and laptop. Other than that, it was perfect!
This property was amazing!! So quiet and peaceful. Outlook from the cabin was awesome and the breakfast... AMAZING!! Thanks Sarah and Andrew for a wonderful stay :-)
