Named for its premier view of the river off the back porch, Look Out is one of our most popular two bedroom cabins. Each room has a king bed and a twin sleeper sofa in the living area.

Utopia River Retreat is a 12-acre estate where you can relax in one of 9 cozy cabins or the historic home known as the Fortress. Enjoy views of the Sabinal River, centuries-old cypress & oak trees as well as the native wildlife. You will find enchantment with each visit. Our event spaces have played host to weddings, family reunions and numerous other events.

Very relaxing.

I had a fine time, the location was good, the staff were friendly, the accommodation was clean and very well appointed. I would change two things in the listing. The wifi was intermittent and slow when it was present and though this is a "river retreat" there really isn't a river, looks like it's been dry for several years.

Relaxing getaway

We took a short weekend trip to Utopia. The scenery of the flowing river from our patio was breathtaking. The place was clean and Nancy was responsive. Definitely recommend! My dogs had a great time. We plan to go back.
