Utopia River Retreat is a secluded paradise nestled along the Sabinal River in the Texas Hill Country.

Hide Out is one of our two-bedroom cabins. Tucked under our massive live-oak trees, it's covered back porch is a great place to enjoy views of the river. Each room has a king bed and a sleeper sofa in the living area.

Utopia River Retreat is a 12-acre estate where you can relax in one of 9 cozy cabins or the historic home known as the Fortress. Enjoy views of the Sabinal River, centuries-old cypress & oak trees as well as the native wildlife. You will find enchantment with each visit. Our event spaces have played host to weddings, family reunions and numerous other events.

Quiet area, cute cabin!

Quiet place to stay, clean cabin and well maintained property. About 15 miles from Concan where we swam in the Frio. Had breakfast at cute pie diner in Utopia. Fun weekend with granddaughters.

The property is well maintained and supplied with plenty of towels and other supplies. Our 13 year old niece spent her days perusing the shore and found a lizard and a salamander. The porch is excellent and would come back in a heartbeat.
