Wild Oak Ranch Cabin and Riverfront

4 bedroom, 2 bath cabin on over 10 acres with porch swings. On the crystal clear Sabinal River to enjoy swimming & fishing (river levels can vary, in a drought and currently low 4/2024). Nestled in Utopia, Texas in the hill country. The cabin is surrounded by huge oak trees with lots of deer & other wildlife. Each bedroom has french doors leading to the porches. Just 15 miles from Garner State Park & 15 miles from Lost Maples State Natural Area.

Cabin was nice but needs supplies
The cabin was nicely located and looked as per the photos. We were not satisfied with how it was stocked. The towels are old and there isn’t enough of them. Same is true for the dishes, especially the silverware. There were 6 of us and not enough for us all to have a fork and knife. There were no trash bags, napkins/paper towels or coffee filters. The outdoor trash cans were overflowing with trash which caused the animals to get into it. The TV doesn’t work. The place just needs some TLC from the owner. The hot tub was nice and the bedding was clean.

Wonderful place.
Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying here for vacation this year. The property is beautiful, clean and well maintained. Communication with the owner was fantastic before we got there. She even granted us permission to have family pictures taken. Will definitely be back! Thanks again!

Perfect Place
There were 8 in my group (3 kids & 5 adults) and there was plenty of room here. The house is clean, well equipped with all the necessary vacation amenities, and located in a great area. We were close to Garner State park and everything else around there but far enough away that we didnt have to deal with any crowds. The private river access is wonderful and the rope swings were a huge hit!! Watching the deer feed at the on premise deer feeder was a great treat during morning coffee & while eating dinner. Will definitely stay here again!
