Enjoyed three nights here in September, beautiful hotel with exceptional outdoor pool. Our room was spacious and light with a comfortable, cool bed. Good location for exploring the surrounding area, very safe and quiet, would recommend a car.

Gorgeous spot

Beautiful building in a lovely part of the world. Jean Marc and the staff were excellent. We had the panoramic suite which was extrememy spacious and comfortable however it is above the terrace area outside the bar so we were glad we were there in October. In the summer this room could be very noisy also people smoke out there so if you have the windows open it can be unpleasant. Breakfast is a very good buffet and dinner in the restaurant was excellent.

Set in an old convent, the hotel has done an amazing job of blending the old with the new. The food is spectacular without being expensive and the setting on the terrace is magical. Comfy beds, lovely bathrooms, and loads of space for luggage and hanging clothes. We will definitely return.

we arrived quite late without a dinner reservation. They sat us immediately. The staff was amazingly accommodating, our room was gorgeous and spacious. We could not have asked for more!!

Not much character but delivers the basics

Beautiful property from the outside with lots of character but the rooms are quite sterile. Reception area is like a back office and should be a warmer first impression. Restaurant was good- two young waiters ran the whole service with efficiency and friendliness. Nowhere to have a pre-dinner drink as reception closed at 8pm. No desert wine on offer in the restaurant which is odd in France. Maybe in high season there is more atmosphere.

Sérénité et excellence

Extraordinaire séjour d’une semaine à l’hôtel du couvent. Magnifique bâtiment restauré avec goût, un havre de paix et de sérénité. Les chambres sont grandes et confortables, climatisées. La piscine est superbe et bien agréable après une journée d’excursion. Restaurant sur place le soir, « bistronomique », produits locaux, plats très soignés, goûteux. Le service est impeccable et souriant. Un lieu idéal pour découvrir les villages pittoresques et les grottes du sud Ardèche.

Så bliver det ikke bedre.

Lækkert sted men god service og masser af lækre detaljer. Maden var utrolig velsmagende og tjenerne behagelige. Poolen er fantastisk. Vi blev derfor nødt til at tage en ekstra nat på hotellet.

L'hebergement etait parfait . Juste la clim un peu bruyante . Et la poire de la douche qui coulait apres s'en etre servi. La literie etait parfaite . Le repas au restaurant etait succulent . Tolle Anlage in der Nähe der Ardèche. Guter Ausgangspunkt zum Radfahren, Kanufahren, etc. Wir hatten ein Superior Doppelzimmer mit Terrasse gebucht. Die Einrichtung war für unseren Geschmack wenig ansprechend (wenig Stauraum, unbequeme Sessel). Frühstück (18€ pro Person) war gut und dem Preis angemessen. Auf der Anlage gibt es einen schönen Pool. Kostenfreie Parkplätze ausreichend vorhanden.

Stilvoll und modern

Eine Oase mit viel Stil. Ruhig, grosser Pool, Zimmer modern und geräumig, mit kl. Kühlschrank und Nespressomaschine. Das Restaurant im Innenhof des früheren Klosters serviert am Abend gute Speisen, die Bedienung ist freundlich, die Weine aus der Region waren ausgezeichnet. Bei jedem Besuch bemerken wir weitere positive Entwicklungen. Die Nähe der Anselm Kiefer Stiftung Ribaute, des Städchens Barjac sowie der Natur-Sehenswürdigkeiten der Umgebung machen das Hotel zu einer idealen Basis.
