"This is a very traditional historic Swiss Hotel, located next to a bus station that is the end of the line (about a twenty minute scenic bus ride to St. Moritz). Because the hotel is very old, it has natural character and charm. That said, the bathrooms are modern. "I booked this hotel primarily for the view of Lake St. Moritz and the more reasonable room rates. We took a taxi from the train station to the hotel which was approx. 25CHF as it is a very steep walk even with the escalators. The gal that checked us in was very friendly, helpful and provided a good overview of the hotel and town. We did not book the room with breakfast and both mornings walked down to the Hauser Hotel for a perfect breakfast more like back home. We did wish the hotel offered in room coffee but there was none in our room. The room was a bit dated but huge and while the windows were large, you could not open them as they are old and fragile. I will say this was one of the most comfortable beds we slept in over our 2 week trip! I would recommend this hotel if you visit St. Moritz. "
