One of 700,000 concrete bunkers built in Albania between 1950 and 1985. This was to ensure that if Albania was ever invaded, local people would be able to defend their country. They are almost impossible to destroy, thus remain an integral part of the landscape. Saw several of then whilst hiking in Valbona national park #history #nature #hiking #nationalpark
...it's not the first time I feel mountains actually tumbling down on us in Albania. The first time was in the South, last year. This year, in the North, the view came with extra snow. :)
